People & Operations Manager

We are hiring our first dedicated People & Operations Manager to own HR and keep our Zaventem office running smoothly.

Ventory is the field inventory layer between your ERP and the field. We give companies total control and real-time visibility of every item that lives outside the warehouse: consigned implants in hospitals, spare parts in engineer vans, loaner kits at surgical centres. We integrate with the customer's ERP (SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, Oracle, Sage and more), deploy in under 4 weeks, and our mobile-first, offline-capable app earns 95%+ adoption from field teams. We are ISO 27001-certified, SOC 2-compliant and GDPR-ready, and already live with NHS London Ambulance Service, Unilever and DHL Supply Chain. We are a lean, fast-moving B2B SaaS company headquartered in Zaventem, Belgium, scaling toward our next phase of growth.

The role

You will run HR day to day and keep our office, suppliers and leadership team on track. Expect roughly 60% HR and 40% office and operations.

You report to our COO, work closely with our CFO, and have a senior HR advisor alongside you for complex cases.

What you'll own

Own Belgian HR: contracts under PC 200, work regulations and the employee handbook.
Prepare monthly payroll with SD Worx and own salary bands, benefits and the yearly cycle.
Run recruitment, onboarding and offboarding, from job description to the day-90 check-in.
Run the twice-yearly reviews and keep people data accurate for board reporting.
Run the Zaventem office: equipment, suppliers, invoices, events and leadership logistics.
Support the CFO with headcount, payroll costs and expenses at month-end.

What you bring

Fluent Dutch and English. French is a strong plus.
5+ years across HR and office management, at least 3 hands-on in HR in Belgium.
Hands-on Belgian employment law and payroll with a social secretariat (SD Worx, Securex, Partena, Acerta or similar).
Experience with salary benchmarking and recruitment, from job description to signed offer.
Organised, discreet and comfortable with invoices, purchase orders and spreadsheets.
Eligible to work in Belgium/EU and in our Zaventem office three days a week.

A qualification in HR management or social law.
Experience with an HRIS and with AI tools that take admin off your plate.
B2B SaaS experience, or experience with employee equity plans.
