As a rapidly growing leader in electrical installations for Building Management Systems (BMS), Elteros reached a critical juncture. Their rapid expansion was being limited by manual processes. They didn't just need a tool; they needed a strategic shift from a turnover-focused approach to an efficiency-first model that would enable long-term sustainable growth.

  • Inefficiency in the field: Relying on paper-and-pen and manually filled Excel sheets meant that field staff were "flying blind" in the field with limited stock information on hand. Valuable technician time was spent on inventory tracking rather than focusing on their BMS project tasks for the day.
  • Data lag leading to billing delays: With projects lasting up to 2 years, the time and effort needed for regularly gathering inventory usage data from field technicians led to 2-month billing and payment collection delays. Leftover stock was also hard to track and often not fully accounted for on balance sheets, which made it difficult to aggregate costs and maintain higher liquidity.
  • Shortages from lack of real-time visibility: The inability to track inventory in real time and plan ahead for timely stock replenishments led to shortages that affected project progress.

Currently, 130 users enjoy real-time inventory visibility and control at their fingertips with more than 9200 orders handled in total on Ventory in the past year.  
  • Seamless integration and go-live: The end-to-end go-live with Ventory was within just 3 months. Ventory delivered a complete solution with custom API integration that with Elteros’ existing ERP. The integration was achieved entirely without external contractors and business continuity was kept intact.
  • Field-first design: Ventory’s intuitive, barcode-driven interface requires zero complex training. New staff at Elteros pick up Ventory quickly with minimal guidance, which means low training costs and fast deployment.
  • Financial & Regulatory Compliance: Through seamless data flow via API integration and digitalization of documentation, Elteros completely eliminated the previous 2-month billing and payment collection delay. Inventory data is now cleaner and reports are up-to-date, making EU regulatory compliance a breeze.
  • Digitalized inventory cycle counts and asset tracking: Elteros uses Ventory to track both inventory and assets. Inventory accuracy is now at an impressive ≥98% while 990+ assets (e.g. laptops, tools, etc.) are being tracked effectively.
  • Automated replenishments: Critical part availability is ensured by setting up automated replenishment alerts and orders on Ventory Web. This in turn prevents shortages in the field that can cause impediments in Elteros’ BMS projects.
  • Strong partnership mindset: The mutual focus on solving issues for long-term robustness allows Elteros and Ventory to collaborate effectively. Continuous improvement and innovation have become the DNA of our partnership.
